If you’re trying to pick the best Jogging Stroller, and you’re having a hard time deciding between the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, and the Joovy Zoom 360 Jogging Stroller, let me help you decide.
First of all, these two jogging strollers have a few things in common, for instance both the Jeep Overland and the Joovy Zoom come equipped with aluminum lightweight frames weighing only 28 pounds, suspension systems, 16-inch rear wheels, parking brakes, adjustable canopies, 5-point adjustable child safety harness’s, large under seat storage baskets, parent trays with organizers, and running leashes for safety. That’s all fine and dandy, but what’s important is how they differ.
First of all, the most important difference is in the design. The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller has a permanent fixed wheel, and is designed for the serious jogger/runner. It is ideal for parents who are enthusiastic about their workout’s. I also has a handbrake for steep hills. The Joovy Zoom 360 is also designed for jogging, but not near as serious. The Joovy has a swivel front wheel that has the ability to lock into a fixed wheel position for the occasional jogger/walker. This swivel front wheel gives the Joovy the ability to turn on a dime, negotiate tighter spaces, such as grocery aisles and clothing stores. The fixed wheel Jeep Overland does not have that capability. The only way to turn the Jeep is to slightly lift up the front end, then turn. In other words, pop a wheelie! Although this may seems strange at first, you’d be surprised at how natural it feels in time, not to mention if your child is anything like mine he/she will love it! Another important design feature that’s different is the suspension. They both have excellent suspension systems, the Jeep Overland’s is spring loaded, and the Joovy Zoom’s is considered shock absorbing. I honestly am not sure what the difference is there, but I can tell you that the Joovy Zoom has 3-inch travel, and sits up a lot taller than the Jeep Overland, making the handlebar taller as well. Some people may not like this, others may find that it is the perfect height for a comfortable run. Also, the Jeep Overland offers an adjustable handle bar with several heights and different angles, whereas the Joovy Zoom does not adjust. The Joovy Zoom Stroller is designed to hold up to 75 pounds, whereas the Jeep Overland can only hold up to 45 pounds. 30 pounds is a big difference, it could mean another couple years of use.

Other differences include, reclining seats, although they both have them, the Jeep Overland reclines in 5 different positions, while the Joovy Zoom only has 3. Also, the Jeep Overland parent tray comes with a neat iBaby sound system that give you and your little one the ability to listen to tunes. It also has a built in odometer to track speed and distance as well as cup holders. The Joovy Zoom has a neoprene parent tray with cup holders and organizer as well, but it is velcroed on. I believe they designed it this way so that it was easily removable, and weighed less when attached. I can see where the Jeep Overland parent tray could be a pain, it weighs 2 pounds by itself, however it is also detachable. Another neat feature that the Jeep Overland has is the child snack tray that includes its own cup holder. The Joovy Zoom does not have this.
Perhaps the most important difference of all is the price. Now, for the most part, both of these jogging strollers cost the same. It’s true at least on Amazon. They’re list prices are the same, $239.99, however the Jeep Overland is always on sale, whereas the Joovy Zoom’s price never seems to budge. At the time of writing this article, the Jeep Overland was on sale for 70% off of the list price, making it $169.99. That’s a big difference when all is said and done.
To conclude this long, never-ending comparison, I’m going to tell you my opinion. If you are a serious jogger/runner, maybe even thinking of competing in a race or two, I highly recommend the fixed wheel Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller. It is one of the best jogging strollers designed for the runner, and has a ton of additional features that can make you’re dreary exercise workout more enjoyable for you and your child. However, if you are one of those people who go for a jog, and end up fast walking around town, the Joovy Zoom 360 Jogging Stroller can make your adventures simply enjoyable. With expert maneuverability, you won’t have to worry about steering your little one into a light pole.
