My Review:

The Kolcraft Contours Stroller originally caught my eye because of the reversible seat option, and the fact that the seat removes easily, allowing you to attach your car seat. The most loved feature was definitely the reversible seat, as well as the tall handlebar. Even though the handle bar isn’t adjustable, it seems that it’s at a perfect height, especially for taller people. I did see some mixed reviews about whether or not taller children would fit comfortably in the Kolcraft Contours Stroller seat. Most stated that there was plenty of adjustments to accommodate their growing child. Also, as I said before, most loved the reversible seat option. I did find one review that claimed it would not collapse when the seat was reversed, however after reading a more recent review from another mother, she states that the Kolcraft Contours Stroller CAN be folded down with the seat facing either way. There were several complaints about the sunshade not offering enough protection, and many reviewers commented on how confusing the assembly was. Also, the Kolcraft Contours Stroller does not offer pneumatic tires, air-filled tires, they are hard plastic, which is pretty common for all-terrain strollers.

As for the price, I would have rated the Kolcraft Contours Stroller a 5 because it is extremely affordable compared to some of the other all terrain strollers out there. However, 33 out of 41 reviewers rated it 4 to 5 stars out of 5, and that’s about an 80% customer satisfaction rating. It would have to be at least 85% to get a full 5 stars. All in all, even with the negative feedback, most were quite pleased with the Kolcraft Contours Stroller. Check out the customer feedback below.

The Good
  • Reversible seat: Child can either face you or the world
  • Swivel front wheel allows you to turn on a dime and lock for light jogging
  • Universal car seat adapter
  • Foot rest for added comfort
  • Child cup holder, pivots in and out
  • Easy-reach parent tray
  • All-terrain, snow and ice included
The Bad
  • Wider than regular strollers, makes narrow aisles harder to negotiate
  • It comes in a lot of pieces, so it takes a little time to assemble

So to recap, the Kolcraft Contours Stroller is an excellent buy, great value, and a great price! You can purchase the Kolcraft Contours Stroller at Amazon.com, click here for the best price.

Customer Feedback:

Oh, how I love this stroller!,October 6, 2011

By Christina Myers (Marietta, GA)

I bought the Kolcraft Contours Stroller after reading a lot of reviews. One of the big things that sold me (I was also looking into a BOB Revolution) was that it came with the seat AND the universal car seat adapter. With the BOB, this is a very expensive accessory (especially after paying big bucks for that stroller!). Our car seat is the Safety 1st Onboard Air 35, which is a newer, larger infant car seat and not compatible with most things. This stroller listed this as one of the compatible seats and I was THRILLED. Admittedly, the Kolcraft Contours Stroller is a bit of a pain to assemble, but once put together, is very sturdy.

My only complaint (and I totally saw this coming and bought it anyway), is that the canopy on the Kolcraft Contours Stroller is just a couple of inches too small and lets in a lot of light. This isn’t a big deal with our car seat (it has a very large canopy), but if you are just using the seat, sometimes I have to throw a blanket over it to keep the sun out of my daughter’s eyes. Also, this won’t fit in the back of my 2007 Scion tC, but fits wonderfully in our 2011 Chevy Equinox.
