Where to Buy:
The BOB Sport Utility Stroller is designed specifically for off-road trails and rough terrain. It offers three 16-inch high-impact polymer composite wheels with pneumatic knobby tires. This, along with the state-of-the-art coil spring suspension system, and adjustable shock absorbers, allows you to take your BOB Sport Utility Stroller just about anywhere. The front wheel is locked in a fixed position which provides increased stability on rough terrain whether you’re walking or jogging, and it comes equipped with a front wheel tracking adjustment knob that will keep you strolling straight.
The BOB Sport Utility Stroller also offers an ultra-padded seat with multiple reclining positions, as well as a padded 5-point harness, and a multi-position canopy with large viewing window. It can easily be folded in just two steps, and the lightweight frame makes it easy to transport. In addition, it also comes with a padded handlebar, with a wrist strap attached, and a hand brake for increased control on hilly terrain. When stopped, the foot-activated parking brake keeps the stroller in place.

Bob Sport Utility Review:
The BOB Sport Utility is definitely one of my favorite BOB Strollers. What sets it apart from the others is that it offers high-impact polymer composite wheels and pneumatic knobby tires. What this means in English is that it has high-performance plastic wheels, made to be lightweight but also extremely durable, as well as air-filled tires with knobby tread. Oh, and the front wheel is fixed. Although the BOB Ironman also offers a fixed front wheel, it’s wheels and tires are designed more for paved streets and sidewalks, whereas the BOB Sport Utility Stroller goes anywhere. It also has the same suspension system that’s in the BOB Revolution, along with the adjustable shock absorbers.
I really can’t say enough good things about the BOB Sport Utility. I think it’s a fantastic running stroller! The only drawback is the price. It’s not quite as expensive as the BOB Revolution, or even the BOB Ironman, but it’s still up there. The only other drawback is that the BOB Sport Utility Stroller doesn’t come with any extra’s, like a parent tray, or snack tray. You do get the accessory adapter, but it doesn’t do you much good unless you actually purchase the accessories that are sold separately. I think that at least one accessory, either the parent tray or child’s snack tray, should come standard, but it doesn’t.
As far as reviews go, the BOB Sport Utility had 13 out of 16 reviewers rate it 4 to 5 stars, that’s an 81% customer satisfaction rating. Personally, I feel this rating should be higher, the problem is that a few of the reviewers purchased this stroller without realizing that the front wheel is fixed. It’s fixed for a reason, and that is because the BOB Sport Utility is a running stroller designed for off-road running. These reviewers them complained about having to pop a wheelie in order to turn, and gave it a low star rating.
The only other low star ratings came from two reviewers that both received defective parts or missing parts. I can understand their frustration, but the rating system is designed to give readers feedback on the performance of the product. If it wasn’t for those three reviews, the BOB Sport Utility would have 100% customer satisfaction.
Now, those that actually used the stroller for it’s intended purpose, absolutely loved it! The only real complaint was regarding the price, and lack of accessories. Also, when folded, it is a bit bulky, but then again most jogging strollers are.
Where to Buy:
Amazon usually offers the best deal. In this case Buy.com has the lowest price but Amazon offers a 60 Day Guarantee. On the other hand, REI has a higher price, but it also offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
