The Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller is designed to be one of the lightest and easiest strollers on the market today. Built for everyday use around town, its patented one-hand quick-fold design allows you to fold and unfold your stroller with one easy step.
The Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller also comes with quick-release wheels, making it super portable. This all-terrain stroller is designed to be simple and easy, including the one-step reclining seat and retractable weather cover. It also includes an adjustable 5-point harness, and no-pinch sun canopy with multiple positions.

All in all, the Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller was designed to be a super simple and easy to use everyday stroller. I believe that they designed it perfectly for just that, however, if you’re looking for something to take jogging, or an off-road hike, the Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller is NOT the stroller for you. For those of you looking for more of an off-road jogger combined with an around town stroller, I would suggest something like the Baby Jogger Summit, the BOB Revolution, or the Joovy Zoom 360. If you’re just looking for an easy to use, everyday, go shopping at the mall, or for a walk through the park, than the Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller is perfect.
Now, there’s actually two models available, the 2011 Baby Jogger City Mini and the 2012 City Mini. There’s only about a $10 dollar price difference, so unless the 2011 model is offered at a huge sale price, I’d definitely go with the new 2012 model. They’re pretty much the same, aside from a new seat board, and a fold lock. For a more detailed list of improvements check out this article, Baby Jogger City Mini 2011 Vs. 2012.
As for reviews, 17 out of 19 reviewers rated the new Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller 4 to 5 stars, with a max of 5. In other words, 89% of the reviewers were extremely pleased with their purchase. The only complaints I found were regarding the lack of accessories, which are all sold separately, and one reviewer that ordered a Grey/Green stroller and got a Green/Grey stroller instead.
Love this stroller!, April 28, 2012

After looking for a long time at different strollers, doing research and playing with different strollers in stores, I finally decided on the Baby Jogger City Mini 2012. The main things I wanted in a stroller was one that was lightweight but sturdy, easy and smooth maneuverability, a big full sunshade, a full recline, easily folded, and one that does not take up my whole car’s trunk the way the travel system stroller did. This stroller is everything I wanted and more!
The only things about it that I wish were different is that it would come standard with a child tray and parent console and drink holder. But those accessories are available and easily attached.
